Gabrielle Garofalo has spent a career following her passions both professionally and personally leading to incredible accomplishments in both areas.
She started at 19 in advertising and by 24 shifted to magazine publishing; in 1999 she shifted from a successful publishing career to launch her marketing/events consultancy; from consulting she jumped back into a role to launch & lead the global content division for The Wall Street Journal. In 2015 she ditched that life to buy, rebrand and ultimately sell a thriving local food & drink festival to come back to consulting. In 2018 she launched her food & drink blog called “A Lady Walks Into a Bar” and her next act includes launching a new mentoring/coaching practice this fall. On a personal front, she is married for almost 20 years, has three kids (26, 14 and 11), is a singer, writer, yogi, biker, incredible chef, guitar player, activist, world travel seeker, volunteer, and triathlete. And soon to be a pianist and motorcycle license carrier!
